Sri Lanka bond yields close flat

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka secondary market closed flat on thin trading on Thursday (13), market dealers said.

On Tuesday (11) Sri Lanka sold 40.2 percent billion rupees of bonds maturing in 2025, 2027 and 2031.

The central bank’s indicative spot rate was 201.7844 on Thursday (13), up from 200.9798 on Wednesday (12).

The buying rate for telegraphic transfers was 198.5008 and the selling rate was at 202.9992 on Thursday.

In the secondary bonds market, yields remained steady.

A bond maturing on 15.03.2025 closed at 10.90/95 down from 11.00/20 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.11.2022 closed at 8.75/85 percent steady from 8.75/15 percent on Wednesday close.

A bond maturing on 15.12.2022 closed at 8.75/90 percent steady from 8.75/15 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.12.2027 closed at 11.50/56 percent down from 11.65/75 percent on Wednesday. (Colombo/ Jan 13/2021)
